What Are Ya'll Talkin' About? Here's my take.

-THE TAKE-

Since Trump won this election in a landslide victory, I have seen Christians all over the world react with some of the most confusion (or as I like to say - built in modern misunderstanding) that I’ve ever come across.

You don’t like Trump? Ok, we get it. He’s crass, he does seem to have an ego issue, and he hasn’t always been faithful to his wife. But I would like to be honest about all the other things people cling to as criticisms of Trump - most of them are media narratives, highly slanted liberal narratives meant to persuade the populace to dislike Trump. From all the legal cases thrown at him to January 6th - there is so much narrative that falls apart under just a little bit of scrutiny and investigation. Being on the side that I’m on is not about being a “Trumper” or even a Republican. I am a registered Independent, but the truth will always be the truth and holds greater weight than our opinions or our emotional perspectives that are based in half-truths at best.

So, concerning this election, I'm not going to say "I told you so" because I didn't know. I didn't know how the "election" would play out - would there be any shenanigans? Would the black vote stay at +90% democrat? Would women band together and put Kamala in office by virtue of the sisterhood? There were a lot of questions, and even still, I don't have faith that the deep state won't continue to do everything they can to keep Trump from being inaugurated again.

What I can say in truth is that I'm one of the people who has been trying to show you that the media has been lying, and that lying has been in overdrive - ESPECIALLY if you do like Ricky Smiley said and listen to CNN and MSNBC.

I get it, ya'll don't like Trump. You don't have to. But a lot of you really should consider some of the other logic that some of us have been trying to show you. The democrats lost this thing badly for a number of reasons, but I believe that these are the main ones:

1. Failed Current Administration - the economy is bad, everything costs more. Interest rates went through the roof. We all know it, we all feel it, and yet the media, and even Joe Biden himself tried to downplay it. People don't appreciate that.

2. The Border - the border has been their biggest issue since their administration took over. It started with undoing everything that Trump had in place, which actually gave us some decent control over border security. People witnessed the illegal immigration be encouraged by the millions and orchestrated somehow. That's not the move.

3. Bad Messaging - Bad Messenger - Kamala had nothing to say, nothing to offer that was substantive. Her way of answering questions was clearly deflective and showed that she was trying to avoid giving direct answers and/or reciting scripted answers. Her personality is off putting a lot of times and her laugh makes a lot of people physically cringe. None of these things would be deal breakers if she were to be sharp on the issues. She wasn't. Her ideas were actually easily found to not be her ideas. She mimicked a couple of Trump's proposals and then even made the fatal mistake of saying that she could not think of anything that she would do as president that would be different from Biden. She also ran on fixing the border, even though America KNOWS that the Biden administration did not control the border, seemingly on purpose, the entire time they were in office. She stood on misinformation and outright lies against Trump. For example, she kept repeating that the bipartisan bill that the democrats proposed for border security was the strongest border security bill and that it was Trump who encouraged his republican buddies to block it. However, upon some basic research, we see that their bill wasn't even presented until 2023, and every republican in congress voted against it because it was an omnibus bill that included billions of dollars of foreign aid and concessions for illegal immigration to continue. Could any of you imagine the mess we would have if the illegal immigration was in essence legalized through a bill? She never mentioned HR-2, which was the republican led bill, which was a much better bill that actually laid out plans and funding specifically for border security. Thanks to social media, people are now a lot more informed - especially if you are a person who WANTS to be informed. There are still plenty of people who drink the mainstream media kool-aid, but many many others are waking up. Ultimately, she had no good messaging to begin with, but she also couldn't articulate what little she was proposing. The people rejected that.

4. LABELS - the democrat party in general, but especially including Kamala in her campaign, kept trying to label Trump and his supporters. Calling people fascists, nazis, racists, sexists, and all kinds of other presumptuous and offensive names is not the way to go, especially when we see what Harris and Biden have been. We saw them rig their primaries for Biden. Then we saw them lie about Biden's health and force him out. We saw them install Kamala without going through the established democratic process of the party nominating and electing the candidate. We saw it. So the labeling and name calling came off as projection, instead of fact. It only works on the masses who are still brainwashed. The democrats still don't seem to see that there is a mass awakening happening where so many people are no longer brainwashed. This is a key piece that she missed in her campaign.

5. Finally - PRIDE - Kamala represents what normal people do not like - a person who is too proud to admit fault. She would not say that the Biden Harris administration has gotten ANYTHING wrong. No mention of failing at the border. No mention of the failing economy, high inflation, no mention of their handling of the Israel/Palestine conflict. This is a reflection of PRIDE. The American people did not take too kindly to a person refusing to admit any fault, yet simultaneously promising to fix things. Those two things do not match. People were looking for her to say, "here's where we went wrong, here's what I learned, and here's how I would do things differently as President." A middle schooler could see that she did not take any accountability and she just came off as disingenuous.

As my 2 cents has gotten a little long winded here, I'd just like to say to Christians - stop all this crying and slobbering over Kamala losing. She should have lost. She does not represent Christ - you know the Christ that you say you believe in and follow the tenets of His Word? That Christ? If you're upset over her loss, it shows that you have been deceived along the way. Misguided, misinformed, perhaps aligning with politics on a more emotional level, rather than through the Holy Spirit. These are the things I notice, and I know I'm not off base, but I see so many around me who would view me as the crazy person. I would really like to know what you all think. Agree or disagree. I'm here for it all because I think it's high time that more of us get some real clarity about what's truly going on in this world.

-THE CLOSE-

That's the minute. You paused, you looked closer — that's the whole point. If this made you think, do two things: forward it to one person who needs to slow down too, and if somebody sent you here, get on the list so you don't miss the next one. See clearly. Think deeply. Respond wisely. — WAYTAMINUTE
